Social media is continuously used for social good.By maximum use of social media we can face the challenges of building global public engagement.

Social media can also be used to socialize with like-minded people than to just solve problems.

It is not easy but it is possible to create an online development conversation spanning both donor and implementing countries—as the United Nations Secretary General showed recently, when he held an online Q&A that, thanks to Twitter, Facebook, and Weibo, was truly global.

It is possible to create sustained engagement by having dialogue between the corridors of power and people on the ground in developing countries and find practical solutions to development challenges.Even after that we need to do much more with our own social media channels—to dismantle the social divides and come together online.
